SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
ARTICLES
- Articles may be published or unpublished. Published articles should contain publication information, such as name of publication and date of issue.
- Articles are classified into English or Ilokano. Tagalog articles are also accepted.
- The author shall keep the copyright of his work.
- Bilingual Pen accepts submission in any writing genre. However, authors are requested to properly classify their submissions.
- Authors may put their bio-sketch (50-150 words) below their articles. They may also put a link to their websites/blogs. Authors writing about a subject that falls under their field of expertise (say, a doctor or medical health professional writing about a a certain disease, a medical writer giving tips on medical writing, a song writer sharing his observations about trends in song writing) are encouraged to include their bio-sketch to add authority to the articles.
- For how-to articles, well-written and researched articles are preferred. Researched articles must include proper referencing of sources.
- Do not plagiarize. It is the responsibility of the authors to ensure that the articles they submit for publication do not violate existing copyright laws.

HOW TO SUBMIT
- Click SUBMIT button. You will be asked to register.
- Complete the registration process. Make sure to write a valid address because your password will be emailed to that address.
- Log in to Bilingual Pen. You can do so by clicking the SUBMIT button.
- Once you’ve logged in, you will be directed to the ADMIN panel. Post your article.
- Make sure to categorize your article properly by putting a label in the category field. Labels you can use include: poetry, essay, opinion, short story.
- Publish your article.
