let my tears
August 21, 2009 by manonton dalan filed under Poetry | 624 viewsi could see
bare branches
no leaves
to dance
with breeze
only chirppers
looking for larvae
tree will soon die
if it won’t spring
leaf to collect from sun
love, nurturing touch;
to cover sensitive skin
with too much pain
from within
let my tears
wet almost dried roots
to awakened wilting shoots
let my humble rhyme
be rhythm of journey
so leaf would be there for me
even in darkness to play
