before we part
September 4, 2008 by manonton dalan filed under Poetry | 126 viewshighlights coming out of her hair
showing few dry leaves in snare
stockings stretch to an awful run
dust cradling on high lying hemline
mellowing eyes, fulfilling noon
deep craving hunger is bourne
synchronizing steps ruffling ground
palms reaching to touch one more time
gecko stick her tongue and let out yawn
hurrying ants undisturbed in up tree climb
shaking fabrics to get rid of all visible sign
monalistic smile, evolving from resting mind
leaning shadows coming out of rainbow pit
whispering, muffled chuckles in rhythmic beat
sweet breeze welcoming embraces, teasing
on rushing waves raise its tempo, crashing
birds singing up above wishing they could have
passionate kiss and tight hugs before we part
ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
… honey 728, room 642 ilikai h dimo lipatan
…. makadanon biag ko … “anya ngata manen apo”
ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
daily walk to the bay
moments hugging me
been a long time
holding back tears
remembering you
i can breathe with you
settle to ember
before we part
can you believe it,
i feel so good after. md
