settle to ember
September 1, 2008 by manonton dalan filed under Poetry | 164 viewsrainbow peeking through leaves
passing through tangled webs
painting my shirt red; the most
making my skin lighter at no cost
reaching my pocket for necklace
i am wondering has she ever miss
i hesitated to give, we share kiss
sky so jealous pouring its grace
ignoring it well with goose bumps
and our hearts’ rising thumps
pin eyed, silence got its hold
talking language faded in cold
flesh to flesh transfering heat
steaming, vaporizing breath
filling up cocoon of passion
twitching muscles bourne
rocks our world, settle to ember
clear blue sky roar in thunder
